I first stumbled across the indomitable Maangchi on her YouTube videos, and immediately loved her down-to-earth, fun cooking show. 

Maangchi’s recipes are now in this attractive, hardcover format with beautiful illustrations and easy to follow recipes. There are detailed explanations on ingredients, sauces and cooking techniques for those not familiar with Korean cuisine.

This is an attractive gift book for those who love to cook, or just love to eat Korean cuisine. If you want real entertainment, though, Maangchi has a sweet and punchy personality that makes her Youtube videos quite entertaining.
