Hench by Natalie Zina Walschot

Tapping into your inner evil

A somewhat darkly funny, tongue-in-cheek look at the world of Superheroes and Villains. Anna Tremedlov – a struggling temp who works for villains becomes a casualty of a battle between good and evil. Thanks for her knowledge of databases and information collection and her bitterness towards a particular Superhero, she is hired by a major player in the world of evil. Tremedlov discovers that she has what it takes to become a hench/man/woman/person.

I especially liked the blend of humor and insightful observations about what it takes to be evil.
